FRIDAY NIGHT - NO APOLOGIES - NOVEMEBR 2 AT THE PLACE IN NEW CITY, NY: What a great show we had! NO APOLOGIES totally rocked The Place in New City, NY with its brand of "90s rock and then some..." The near-flawless performance was well-received as we cycled through our set of Nirvana, Better Than Ezra, Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Guns 'n' Roses, KISS, and so much more! Sadly, this was our last full gig with Ron Roberto, a founder of the band... we will play one more hour long set with him at D&D's in New City, NY on December 8th so I hope everyone will come out for that!
SATURNDAY NIGHT - LOSING OUR FACULTIES - NOVEMBER 3 AT JUAN MURPHY'S IN POUGHKEEPSIE, NY: Damn! Another great performance from LOF! It was a special evening as we celebrated Brittney's birthday with a long-ass night of music - we must have played in excess of over 4 hours when all was said and done! We stuck to the script during our first two sets - Dave Matthews, Sublime, Charlie Daniels, Blues Traveler, The Black Keys, Lynyrd Skynyrd… but the third set got a little crazy as we let Brittney celebrate her birthday with friends while the rest of the band played on - Blink 182, Rick Springfield, Tommy Tutone, Def Leppard, Violent Femmes... and then Brittney came back and joined us for the heaviest LOF ever - Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath... what a way to end the night... we even encored The Devil Went Down to Georgia for those who joined us later in the night! I love this band! We are playing next on November 10th at The Setback Inn in Tarrytown, NY!
