I wish I had more to report on the Faster Than Light cd... I've mixed some tracks with Jon at JROD Productions in Pomona, NY and recorded the last guitar solo for the record. It is hard to get all of my guys in one place at one time and we have one track that needs some backup vocals... so right now the project is a slave to that one last track of backups... though we will begin mixing the remaining tracks pretty much at Jon's convenience... so OCTOBER is still a small possibility! Fingers crossed!
That being said, I have been writing lyrics for some new songs - not sure what will happen with them... maybe a second record, but I can not even wrap my head around that concept right now! I will say that the new set of lyrics show my very jaded view of celebrities... it's not jealousy, but it is something that I just don't have the right words for right now. I have to be honest, but I feel like all of these award shows like the Grammys and Oscars... they are just thrown so that these celebrities can feel good about themselves and talk about how great they are... Some have said it is jealousy, but sometimes I ask myself why I want to be in an industry where Justin Bieber is at the top?
I have several shows coming up with CRUSH, the next one being October 22nd, 2016 at The Whiskey Kitchen in Valley Cottage, NY. Figure on a 9:00 start... should be a fun show and I am looking forward to it! The Faculty Band also has the annual Winter Blues show coming up on January 7th, 2016 and I will have more on that as we get closer to the date.

My Gibson Melody Maker made a rare appearance as my son Max and I rocked Thiells Elementary School maybe 5 or 6 years ago.
